Apply for a Care Level

You apply at the Pflegekasse of the person who needs care. A short phone call or informal letter is enough. The Pflegekasse then commissions the Medical Service, who arranges an appointment at your home.

Our tip: keep a care diary for a few days beforehand and write down where daily help is needed. The more concretely you can describe this at the appointment, the more accurate the classification will be. Processing takes a maximum of 25 working days.
