What happened to Basic, Smart, and Plus?
The three tiers are gone. Consultation is now always included, and the price is built the same way on both booking paths.
Basic, Smart, and Plus no longer exist. We retired them in August 2026 because they caused more confusion than they solved: the names said nothing about actual care needs, and personal consultation looked like something you had to pay extra for.
Consultation is always included at CAIR. It costs nothing extra and is not tied to any tier. We work out with you what is needed, what it costs, and what the care insurance fund covers.
The only difference is how much you handle yourself afterwards. Either you search in the app and book directly. Or you hand the organising to us: we select the caregivers, plan handovers ahead of time, and arrange cover if someone drops out.
The price is built the same way either way: the caregiver's fee plus a 15 percent service fee, plus a one-time 150 euros for travel. No admission fee, no placement commission.
