It's normal and often even recommended to regularly rotate between caregivers. This gives the current caregiver a recovery break and provides the care recipient with variety. Many families work with two or three caregivers who alternate, for example every six to eight weeks.

Plan changes in good time: start searching for the next caregiver about two to three weeks before the current assignment ends.
