What Does the Caregiver Do?

A caregiver supports with personal care, meals, mobilization, accompaniment, companionship, and simple household tasks. What they cannot do: independent medical procedures like injections, managing medications without medical guidance, or legal and financial matters. And they're not on duty around the clock. They have the right to rest periods, free hours, and sufficient sleep.

Realistic expectations on both sides are the best foundation for a good collaboration.
