Expectations in the First Weeks
The first weeks are an adjustment for everyone.
The first weeks are an adjustment for everyone. It's normal that not everything runs perfectly right away. What helps: talk openly and directly with each other. Give praise when things go well. And address small issues promptly before they grow.
Try not to overwhelm the caregiver and respect their rest periods. A caregiver who feels comfortable and is treated fairly does better work and stays longer. That's the best outcome for everyone.
